The weather is cool at night in the Wood River Valley so I wouldn't rush out and be on the water at dawn. The better bet would be to wait until the day warms a bit and hit the river late morning through the afternoon. Look for blue winged olives to be the main food items hatch wise right now.
Afternoons will bring more consistant surface activity on warmer days. Be sure to watch the shallower areas and slicks as you might just be surprised at where you will find fish in the fall.
If nothing is looking up attractor patterns (like my favorite, Mr. Beam), as well as stimulators, smaller Humpys and parachute Adams work throughout the day. Nymphing is good pretty much all day. If you want to do a bit of blind casting (which can be very effective on the Wood) I like to use a Mr. Beam and drop a Copper John off the back and work the likely looking runs thoroughly.
